Details:
seeing reports of NLC (noctilucent cloud), I went out at 1 AM to check. sure enough, i could see them, and i headed out to the Blackfoot Recreation Area (east of Edmonton, AB), to a spot that i had noted. just as i was arriving, i could see a layer of mid cloud moving in. drats, i thought. still, i managed to get a few shots of the NLC and the mid cloud lit up by the Edmonton city glow

Stratocumulus clouds + NLCs (+ a probably very expensive camera, could you precise ?) = OUT OF THIS WORLD picture...

Sylvain... thanks! I have a Pentax K5. this was shot with a Sigma 10-20mm lens
