Details:
Here in Mutare we are still being treated to spectacular volcanic sunsets caused by patches of aerosols from the 22 April eruption of Calbuco Volcano lingering in the stratosphere. Some evenings the sunsets are almost normal with not much color but on others they are still amazing. This evening I happened to pass by the swimming pool as a spectacular twilight arch was developing and managed to capture two perfect reflections of it in still water. The pictures were taken just six minutes apart using a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ60 compact camera in sunset auto mode and provide two rare glimpses of unusual beauty.
