Having seen Paco Bellido's incredible 3D H-alpha stereo monochrome image of the Sun on the May 27 spaceweather home page http://spaceweathergallery.com/indiv_upload.php?upload_id=113052 I decided to try making one using two colour images from the BBSO Solar Telescope of the same date and approximately the same time. http://www.bbso.njit.edu/ - - - then click on Projects... Full Disk Ha Observations The size and proportions of this image match the largest one from Paco Bellido so you can flip back and forth. Although the 3D effect is not as great as Paco Bellido's - it is still interesting. Larry McNish Calgary Centre of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada
