Details:
I couldn't sleep on an overnight flight from Chicago to London on July 22, 2014. I did a good deal of looking out my window at the sunset and night sky. At one point, I looked out and saw those elusive luminous waves of light called noctilucent clouds. Thrill! I took a photo with my humble Canon S90 point-and-shoot.
