Shot the stunning solar halo with my Samsung Galaxy S3 phone on Sunday 17 May at 12.17pm from Yzerfontein on the Cape West Coast, South Africa. I noticed the white orb in the pics when I got home and asked the ASSA what it was. They said it was a camera flare but to submit the images of the solar halo to you guys.
