Details:
The new sunspot group AR2339 is a now a beauty and its massive, a few days ago there were a lot of very long filaments covering the Sun one of those has now reached the western limb and is now a Filaprom…our new word for these objects :-)
My images were taken with a Lunt 80mm solar telescope and a Canon 700D camera with a 2x and 3x barlow lens attached. They are all a stack of 30 images each stacked in Registack6 and processed in PS CS4. The colour is close to the colour as seen through the solar telescope.
The monochrome photo is also a stack of 30 images stacked in Registack6 and you can see all the faint prominences around the limb.
