Details:
Over the last couple of days we have all been intrigued by this long chain of filaments that are running right across the solar surface from east to west. Now another long filament has developed across the middle of the Sun, not far from active sunspot group AR2335 so there is quite a lot of activity happening on the solar surface to see :-) I also observed, a small very active prominence on the eastern limb that flared while taking the images; you can see the light from this activity on the top of the full solar images. My images were taken with a Lunt 80mm solar telescope and a Canon 700D camera with a 2x and 3x barlow lens attached. Each image was a set of 30 shots stacked in RegiStack6 and processed in PS CS4. (The eastern limb is to the top and the western limb is to the bottom in the full disc images)
