Details:
Yesterday morning, the Sun only had 2 small sunspots but on hydrogen alpha light, it showed a very long thin filament on the surface snaking its way at more than two thirds of the Sun's diameter! I used a Lunt 100mm/BF1800 Hydrogen Alpha telescope.
