Details:
Tonight the Mercury and the Pleiades conjunction was prominently visible in the fading twilight. Tomorrow, the Mercury Messenger orbiter spacecraft that transformed Mercury into a unique world will end by crashing into the planet. Watching Mercury tonight it is a moment to consider the innermost planet transformed from a dot to a world. This photo is a stack of 10 Nikon D810 images stacked and deconvoluted in Lynkeos followed by adjustments with photoshop. A 180 mm F2.8 lens at ISO 2000 and .3 secs was used for each exposure.
