I noticed the ring while waiting for the 72% moon to set at 03:30 a.m. to try some late-cycle Milky Way work on what we might consider a decently-clear night in the western Montana mountains. Burned in around the moon a tad. Nikon D750, 35mm Rokinon lens, 1sec f5.6 @ 500 ISO.
