Details:
Everyone was waiting for the massive filament to lift off. After the detached prominence faded in H-Alphalight, it put on quite a show of massive expansion as it drifted off into the solar system. At it's largest, I estimated the size at 1,487,500 miles in length. Enjoy these images taken through a Calcium K filter.
