Click on the thumbnail!! I have to reduce the size in paint and it gives a horrible look on this site! Full size looks nicer!
Last July, I was spending my last vacation in the north woods of Wisconsin with my father. He brought me there each year for six years, and I will never forget it. The night sky there was amazing, and two days before the fourth of July, I snapped this one.
My camera was broken at the time of this picture. Out of 200 black shots my Canon 6D took, this was the one that made it. There was shutter failure and a broken LCD screen, so I'm not sure how it went through, but it was meant to be.
My dad ordered me another camera in his last weeks. I know he wanted me to pursue astronomy. I'm 15 years old- this was taken when I was 14. I will go right back to this spot next year...
