Details:
The photos, taken with a Canon PowerShot SX60 HS camera around 21:00 UT, show Venus over the northwestern horizon of Rio de Janeiro. Due to its current +23.3° (northern) declination, as compared to Rio`s -22.9° (southern) latitude, its path across the sky is almost as far north as it can get.
