Details:
For at least 30 minutes, the top of the moon looked like a melting ice-cream cone due to the white transition to blue coinciding with arcs of bright white craters.Thought I was seeing things, and I was! Canon t2i and 400mm f5.6 working at ISO 1600 for 1/2 sec. on tripod with ballhead mount and no tracking.
