Total eclipse of the sun March 20, 2015, near Svalbard Airport, Longyearbyen, Svalbard Canon EOS 5D Mark III with Canon EF 400mm f/5.6 @ f/5.6 at fixed tripod 29 sequences of exposures: 1/4000 s, 1/250 s, 1/400 s, 1/125 s, 1/40 s, 1/13 s, 1/4 s @ ISO 200 Digital development in Adobe Camera Raw, combining to 29 HDR images and tonemapping in Oloneo Photoengine, aligning of these HDRs in ImPPG, LarsonSekanina filter applied to the HDRs in PixInsight, integration in PixInsight, final processing in Adobe Photoshop CS6.

I guess most people looking at you great image dont realize that what you show here is what is readily visible in large (eg. 11x80) binoculars during a total eclipse ! The humain eye has a superb dynamic compared with todays cameras ... Bravo and thanks for sharing !
