Very lucky to have had a cloudless sky. The shadows where the strangest thing. Blurry one way and sharp the other. It was odd seeing shadows at all at mid eclipse. It was dim, like an overcast day - yet there were sharp shadows!! It also got noticeably cooler, though I think it was lack of warmth from the Sun, rather than a change in air temperature. I now have even more resolve to see a total eclipse!

Hi Wayne. Im pleased you have taken these. I have also taken the same sort of images as well Near Market Rasen in Linconlshire in the middle of the wolds. like you we had wall to wall sunshine with a little cloud towards the end, but nothing at all to spoil the view. I thought it was me not getting my camera setting right, but after looking at the before and after shots I see it was the shadow of the moon. Some people think it was not dark enough, but like you I noticed change in temperature and light. The camera sees things in light different to what we do, I have not seen many of these photos in all the images Ive seen around the UK. Great photos.
