Details:
During sunset the Sun slipped behind a distant cloud bank that was too narrow to cover it completely: while the lower part of the disk had already reappeared underneath it and was glowing in a deep red, the upper part turned green just before vanishing behind the bank.
The color contrast between the two strips of the Sun was striking to the naked eye and also caught - though less dramatically - by the camera. Seen a couple of 'regular' green flashes with the Sun setting in an ocean but never in such a situation.
