Details:
Caught a two day crescent Moon just below Venus in the early evening sky. Venus shows a gibbous phase, Earth-shine also visible. Experimented with camera settings, to get the best effect. The 'night scene' setting was great at recording the Earth-shine. 1. 20150322-1903.04UT Olympus VR310 Digital camera, tripod mounted, set to Scenic Mode, 'Sunset', 166mm Zoom, f/5.9, ISO125, Exposure: 1sec. 2. 20150322-1918.37UT Olympus VR310 Digital camera, tripod mounted, set to Scenic Mode, 'Night scene', f/5.7, 240mm Zoom ISO400, Exposure: 2sec. 3. 20150322-1920.40UT Olympus VR310 Digital camera, tripod mounted, set to Scenic Mode, 'Night scene', f/5.7, 240mm Zoom ISO400, Exposure: 2sec.
