Details:
To see this eclipse from land there was only two options - the Faroye Islands or Svalbard. It appears both locations had clear skies, but here on Svalbard there has not been a single cloud! A truly mesmerizing scenery - blue sky and white mountains as far as you can see.
This vast landscape of white was dotted with large groups of eclipse chasers, and it looked surreal - like ants.
The eclipse was astonishingly beautiful and the corona large and wide, but the freezing temperatures caused havoc on my fingers, and controlling the equipment a real challenge.
Unfortunately the eclipse was over in what felt like a heartbeat, but will be remembered forever!
