Details:
The FM band was already full of fluttery signals at 15:30z (16:30 LT) when I turned the radio on. However, it was still too bright outdoors to see or capture the aurora. The most southern station I have received was B5 Aktuell from Wendelstein (47.7°N) at 16:27z. I drove out of the town a few minutes after 18z. I took my camera, but the aurora was getting weaker and weaker every each photo. Unfortunately I have missed the best moments, as I had to return home after 19z… Canon 550D & EFS 15-85mm, f/3.5, ISO 1600, 30" FM radio reception recordings: Wendelstein, Germany (47.7°N): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yi4eYUJsJQU Poznan, Poland (52.1°N): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lrFhYA83dJQ Berlin, Germany (52.5°N): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lspCnpeJc_o Bokn, Norway (59.2°N): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2iXgiibteTc
