Details:
No aurora, but a very bright planet Venus. Clouds quickly moved in after this image of magnitude -3.99 Venus was captured, precluding any chance of viewing the March 17 geomagnetic storm in Iowa. The image looks west at 7:46 PM CDT from a farm NE of Marion, Iowa. Air temperature was 35 degrees F.
