Details:
Part 2! It was another fantastic night on the Alberta prairies tonight. There was a major auroral out burst before things settled down. Bz dropped sharply and the solar wind speed spiked at the same time allowing the solar energy to put on an impressive show. I found this ice covered field that made the craziest sound if cracking ice. It was a visual and audible feast! No wind and a comfortable - 2 deg C.
