Details:
After several cloudy nights, we took full advantage of the clear skies over the Minnesota Arrowhead. Once it was fully dark, we ventured out to see the stars--and perhaps to see the Northern Lights. To our delight, we saw a disorganized glow towards the north. The glow soon grew brighter and the bow more distinct. Right before 12:00 a.m. the lights broke into beams and rays which continued for another 15-20 minutes.
