Details:
I had my little iOptron IEQ30 all set up, balanced and parked, waiting patiently for me to get home from work at 4pm today. Mounted atop it was the Orion EON ED80 with the DAYSTAR QUARK in the eyepiece holder and the QUARK powerpack charging by the window. I grabbed it all up, rushed it outside and quickly got to work before Ole Sol sunk into the trees to my west. I snagged this 3 piece mosaic highlighting NOAA AR2297 and the notable almost globe spanning filament before seeing deteriorated.
