Details:
Now when the full moon is in its apogee, some clouds obscured its appearance in the Netherlands. Nevertheless it spread enough light (with help from some artificial sources along the road) on almost 1000 crocuses in my garden. These small spring flowers are planted in a way to express a sun with rays. In exactly one half moon orbit the moon will pass in front of the sun March 20th, delivering a nice solar eclipse in the north-Atlantic and a significant partially eclipsed sun in North-western Europe. The combination of this full moon reflecting its light from the sun on my gardens sun hopefully will be followed by a less clouded 20 March.
