Details:
the time was about 2 in the morning. in the south the clouds started to move in, but in the north there was this kind of quite stable but faint aurora shine. the incoming clouds reflected the village lights around ramberg and made a kind of complementary color to the cold color of the aurora. with my unaided eye i could see very clearly the different temperature of the two colors. it was a marvelous observation site up there!
