Details:
Gigantic jet Lightning travels between the cloud tops and the lower part of the Ionosphere. They are known as Transient Luminous Events like Sprites and Blue Jets but these Gigantic Jets are much rarer and more powerful. I captured this one back on Sept. 12,2010 at 1:52am in Cabo Rojo,Puerto Rico using a Kodak Z740 camera. Enhanced using photoshop and an image taken of the sky just 3 mins before the GJ appeared.
