Details:
A very strong and banded airglow, mostly green (from atomic Oxigen), covered the entire sky in Dec. 22, 2014. Contrasty gravity waves competed with the Milky Way dark lanes... What a extraordinary night! In fact, at that time, a strong airglow episode took place at eurpean skies, and many people at low latitudes thought they were photographing auroras! 3 shots panorama Nikon D700 Nikkor AIS 20mm @f/4 20s ISO 6400
