Very nice shot with a point-and-shoot auto-exposure camera! Can you indicate your actual shutter speed?

Also your post does not tell us your geographic location. Can you indicate that?, as it is interesting to compare to others posts where they were at the time of the photos, noting that the moon appears slightly different in position to the planets depending on where the photographer is located.

Sorry, I spoke too soon as I just clicked your EXIF DATA above, it indicates 1/8th sec exposure and 1600 ISO.

But would still enjoy knowing your location. (;
