Another great night in Abisko! I have been a professional aurora hunter/photographer for many years now and I can honestly say that I have never seen anything like the display that I witnessed tonight. For many hours our group gathered on the frozen surface of lake Tornetrask waiting for the northern lights to appear. Several of our guests had lost hope, when suddenly the sky began to glow in a spectacular red color. Moments later the entire sky was alight with a crimson hue that I have never seen before. The show continued for hours and burned a lasting impression in the minds of everyone lucky enough to share the experience. I will post a new time lapse video of the entire display soon.
