Details:
Comet Lovejoy just had another tail event, with another plasma blob visible this Saturday. I have been observing Lovejoy for three days in a row, which made possible the above comparison of the comet tail aspect. The dates for the images are February 12, 13 and 14 respectively. Notice how faint the tail is at the last position, for February 14.
All images were acquired with the same setup, an 65mm APO Refractor at F/6.5 and Canon 550D at ISO3200, and exposures from 3 to 5 minutes, around 6 to 15 for each position.
