Details:
The activity from a couple of days ago is now a thing of the past. AR2282 is dead quiet and only a very faint trace of the tail of the very long filament is visible. The rest of the filament has now become a fat, stubby prominence.
Solarmax 60II f/6.6, Canon XTi ISO 800, surface 1/800 sec. prominences 1/250 sec. East and West are reversed.
The surface and prominence shots are 5 layer stacks. Treated with Lynkeos' Lucy-Richardson algorithm and Photoshop for stacking, montage and colour.
