Details:
The evening of the 02.02.15 allowed me to image a tiny Mars visible above the much brighter Venus. This image shows the stark difference in size between a Mars which I imaged last year when at its closest during the opposition of 2014 and the image obtained on 02.02.15.Even allowing for the different focal lengths used Mars is clearly best observed at opposition! Still some albedo features are visible on little red! Imaged at F25 and F10 using a Celestron C8 and ASI120MM through QHY filters.
