Nikon d7100, Nikkor 180mm 20x180s, iso 2500 @f/4.5 Was definitely able to see Lovejoy naked eye (easier than yesterday). Skies for the 3rd night have been near perfect. This is comet that keeps on giving a great show!

Thanks for posting your fine images! Your consistent reports and compilation [date labeled photos as before] are very good documented reporting on your part.

Weve had constant clouds and rain here in the Northwest for the past week, but looking at sunshine, clear skies, and warmer temps in the low 60s by later in the week for the Portland Oregon area.

This report from you and your fine images are inspiring to get others out and observe while Comet Lovejoy is still holding onto its bright tail.

*Id just like to ask what the difference of your two images are for here. Is the 2nd one at right just different post processing rendering more contrast?
