Details:
Proplyd 106-417, one of the protoplanetary disks discovered by Hubble, is captured in this primary taken image with my 10 inch aperture Newtonian. The close-up is a cropped processing of the sharpest frames. You can already see in the overview image (in the window) that the proplyd isn’t a round object but has a particular shape. The image was still taken with my older monochromatic ATK-2C camera but as I recently bought better camera equipment, I certainly will do it over in (hopefully near) future when seeing is of the right quality. Exposure info: 1200mm primary focus F/4,8, ATK-2C, 111x2.70 Second.
