These images of the moon and planets Jupiter, Uranus and Saturn were taken the last week of January under unusually clear skies. A size
comparison between the planets with that of the moon
shows the difficulty involved in getting detailed images of the planets, especially in the Pacific Northwest. An
Explore Scientific ED127 APO
telescope was used along with a ZWO ASI120MC video camera.
The videos were stacked using
AutoStakkret and processed
further using Adobe Lightroom.
