Details:
The conditions were almost perfect this morning. With a Kp5, the G1 Storm was visible with the almost a full moon. But the moon made for a perfect back-light for the foreground. If it hadn't been shining the auroras would've been more of a spectacular display with richer colors in the sky. But we were lucky to see this amazing display. The stone barn in the foreground was built by German immigrant Frank Schott in 1923. Still standing in Stevens County, MN.
