Details:
I was trying to get a photo of comet Lovejoy with my Canon 60D, I could not see the comet so I was taking 15-20 second exposures of the area I thought the comet was in. I ended up with 3 not so good photos of Lovejoy. The neat thing is that in one photo I have a meteorite trail just above the comet. I was in bulb mode, using a tripod and manually holding down the shutter button. The trail only exists in one of the 3 photos taken in series. Feel free to use this sub-par photo if you wish. The 2nd photo is a cropped and edited portion of the original photo. The 3rd photo was taken just before the 1st, same orientation and settings. Taken with a Canon D60, Tamron 300 mm lens set at 130mm Alexander Cox, Williamsburg Kentucky
