Details:
We had an amazingly clear weekend here in Arizona, and I was able to use our second observatory up at 7000 feet to get a deep shot of this 9th magnitude comet in the west with our DSLR. I used an Orion 8" f/4 astrograph which gives a nice 2 degree field. The sky was dark, depsite the large crescent moon. I could clearly see the rosette nebula and barnards loop naked eye. Now thats dark! Attached: one image Data: 8" f/4 Orion Astrograph with Baader coma corrector 30 mins with Canon XTi Hutech modified DSLR Happy Jack Arizona
