Details:
I'd spent some time on the lake today and found a really cool cave where I could get behind the icicles. Tonight while having tea, even though the aurora was forecast low, I noticed the aurora building. So me and a friend headed to the same spot on the lake where the ice cave was. I took a reindeer skin with me as it has been around the -30C mark and crawled into the cave. I was intending to photograph in the other direction but as I turned round I saw the opportunity for a shot. I asks my friend to stay very still and this is the result. I really like the refractions of the aurora and the photographer in the icicles.
