Double mutual events of the Galilean moons of Jupiter. At night on January 17, the two pairs of Io-Europa and Ganymede-Callisto swap their apparent positions. There occurs two mutual events that Ganymede occults Callisto partially and that Europa eclipses Io partially by umbra, sequently during 23:20-23:40 (UTC+9). Io turns back at the westmost position of its orbit to far side. Europa goes to west in near side, eclipsing Io. Ganymede also goes to west in near side, occulting Callisto. Callisto goes to east in far side. In this photo, upper is west and lower is east.
