Comet Lovejoy Q2 on Jan 16, 2015, 03:13 UT (Jan 15, 2015, 9:13 PM CST.) Poor transparency and intermittent clouds, but it was the first time in over a week to see the comet due to bad weather. 17x120 sec @ ISO 3200, TV-85 at F/5.6, IDAS-LPS, Canon T3 DSLR. Also, I shot it with a Canon 200mm F/2.8 telephoto lens. By that time (06:15 UT,) it was in the trees to the west in my backyard. I still got about 12 minutes worth of sub-images (16x45 sec @ ISO 1600) and composited the image into the last shot before the trees got it.
