Details:
We took these images of comet C/2014 Q2 (Lovejoy) from a mountain site near L'Aquila (Italy). Two optics (both 300mm f2.8 telephoto) and two imaging cameras (a B/W ccd fli m8300m and a DSLR Canon EOS-500D) allowed us to have luminance and chrominance at the same time. The first two images are elaborated with sigma stacking to reduce the light from the stars and to enhance the visibility of the tail(s). The third one shows the evolution of the tails during 80 minutes.
