Winter time is good for reviewing ancient images...I was working with Robert Nufer (the author of SET'n'C software for Windows automatic shooting during Solar Eclipses) to update the software with the Canon 70D, when he caught my attention writing: "I have seen in your TSE20100711 solar eclipse photo album, that you were one of the ~0.000001% of very lucky humans, that ever could photograph shadow bands projected not to the ground, but to a very thin cloud layer. Fantastic!!!" So I went back to the image on my website: www.astrofrenchy.com and I...discovered the famous shadow bands, of which I thought it was like an artefact ! Many thanks, Robert !
