I used the Windows app Solarize Camera to apply this filter. I originally used it for my own photos but applied to the state of the sun on 1/10/2015 , the southern corneal hole barely showing. The blue is extreme light on the atmosphere of the sun I suppose, like light from a lighter casting on something. I thought it may be interesting enough to pass along, a bit more depth perception. Also to note is the obvious break in the blue outline over the southern corneal, is that in its atmosphere as well? This is all personal study and watch daily. Thanks for the site.
