Details:
Barely visible to the unaided eye under dark Moonless skies here in Southeastern Pennsylvania, Comet Lovejoy appeared stunning through a small telescope. The large nebulous coma was very impressive. Imaged with a Canon XS DSLR at ISO800 coupled to a Stellarvue 102ED refractor. This is an single auto guided exposure of 3min30sec duration.
