Details:
I just downloaded the beautiful Heavens-Above app for Android and saw that the ISS was going to come out of shadow and pass Jupiter the next morning. Turns out the best location to setup was right outside my door. Good thing since it was -6 degrees F this morning!
Seconds after the ISS left the earth's shadow I started a 63 second exposure at f 7.1 and ISO 400. A 32 mm setting on my Pentax 18-250 mm lens was ideal for including the moon and Jupiter simultaneously. My Pentax K-5 IIs provides a very sharp image indeed!
What a beautiful sight it was.
