Comet Lovejoy from the Cabaries
Taken by Franklin Loehde on January 6, 2015 @ Comet Lovejoy's head is beginning to show multiple streams of ejected gases and ions and structural changes in short periods of time. This short movie sequence was recorded last night from SLOOH's 50cm telescope in the Canary Islands and processed on my iPad mini with the FilterStorm app and 5sec gif.
