Details:
Bright moonlight, interfering city lights? No excuses to image comet Lovejoy! And it shows a nice ion tail after stacking 60 images, 30 seconds exposed each. (80 mm refractor w/CCD ST-8300). Viewed in binoculars the comet was 4.5 mag and it's diameter about 15 arcminutes (half the diameter of the full moon). I can't wait to have a look at it without moonlight! (BTW: The horizontal star trails are caused by geosynchronous satellites.)
