Details:
The oak forest of Etoloakarnania, Greece, is the last large oak forest of the Mediterranean basin. Oaks were the sacred trees of ancient Greece -and ancient Europe. Tonight I just couldn't resist a ride through that forest, where I snipped this picture with a pocket sized Panasonic Lumix TZ7, no tripod.
